With over 40 years of hands-on experience, we bring clarity, creativity and rigour to every stage of the architectural process. Consultation is at the heart of our approach, listening carefully and shaping designs collaboratively.
Our team of proactive architects bring a unique perspective to projects, combining complementary skills to deliver thoughtful, tailored solutions. We firmly believe that effective process management, from concept to completion and beyond, is crucial in achieving the best solutions. At every stage, we strive to add value through insight, precision and the careful selection of the right team for each project.

Led by our partner Tom, an RIBA and AABC qualified conservation architect, our conservation expertise spans from medieval monuments to 20th-century buildings, enabling us to unlock the full potential of heritage assets through a holistic and carefully considered approach. We integrate conservation principles, environmental sustainability, interpretation and meaningful stakeholder consultation to secure engaging and sustainable futures for historic places.
We are experienced in supporting Heritage Funding Applications and developing briefs that underpin robust business cases. A key element of our work is ensuring long-term viability through the introduction of active uses and event spaces that create employment opportunities and strengthen community connection.
By working inclusively with clients, end users and local communities, we build ownership, embed long-term value and foster lasting civic pride in the spaces we restore and conserve.

Designing inclusive spaces is fundamental to our practice, we believe that buildings should be accessible for all. Our work, especially across education and public sector projects reflect our deep commitment to inclusivity, accessibility and long-term sustainability.
We have a breadth of experience designing spaces for children and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), responding to the growing demand for more inclusive learning environments. Many of our refurbishment projects carefully balance this agenda, adapting existing spaces to support both inclusive education and community needs.
Through close engagement with end users, we create environments that enhance experiences, improve outcomes and provide flexibility for future needs. Our specialist knowledge ensures that inclusive principles are embedded across every project.

Our team works collaboratively to offer you rounded, high level advice

We have a strong track record of supporting local authorities, trusts and charitable organisations during RIBA Stages 0 and 1, helping to shape clear and deliverable strategies before projects are fully defined. Our work often includes developing outline business cases, supporting funding and grant applications, and providing the evidence needed to justify investment.
Through feasibility studies and strategic reviews we evaluate potential sites, test development options and identify the surveys and investigations required to achieve appropriate cost certainty and risk management. This enables clients to make informed decisions before significant expenditure is committed.
We also assist in developing robust project briefs, establishing Employer’s Requirements and advising on procurement routes. Early engagement with clients, stakeholders and communities ensures projects are strategically sound, deliverable and capable of creating long-term value.
